Michaela Guzy-Oh The People You Meet

How many times a day would you like to follow your passion and take off on a trip that would change your life? Last year, Michaela Guzy '97 took that leap of faith. Michaela was a member of Adventure Trade Association and attended a conference in Chiapas, Mexico. When the helicopter touched down in La Palma, Chiapas, she was greeted by the children of the town and instantly started thinking of how to marry her job in the world of luxury travel in a way to help the local people who make each travel destination so special for tourists.

We invite you to hear her inspiring story and see her incredible photos of her travels on Saturday, April 27 at 10 am. Coffee and danish will be served at 9:30 am. There is no cost for this program, but we do ask you to RSVP to preed@nerinxhs.org.

AuctioNerinx Raises $322,000
The auction theme this year should have been--there is magic in the air. It was an amazing salute to Sister Barbara for her 27 years as President of Nerinx Hall. With a sold out room and a standing ovation to Sister Barbara, the auction raised $322,000 for the school and of that amount $92,000 is for the Sister Barbara Scholarship Fund. Nerinx is blessed with wonderful volunteers who spent the last six months putting this event together. A special thank you to everyone who donated an item to the auction and to those who attended and purchased items at the auction.....everyone working together made this auction a record breaker. We do hope to increase the Fund-A-Marker to $100,000. If you can help, please go to Fund-A-Marker on this page to make your gift.

Clare Blase Memorial Scholarship Fund
The Blase Family has established a Clare Blase Memorial Scholarship Fund in memory of their daughter. To contribute to this fund click here. The fund will be used for scholarships for students. If you prefer to send a check, please make payable to Nerinx Hall and in the memo section include Clare Blase Memorial Scholarship and then mail your check to Nerinx Hall, 530 East Lockwood Ave, Webster Groves, MO 63119. The family will be notified of your gift in Clare's memory.
