Please Support the Nerinx Annual Fund
Annual Fund-- Have You Mailed Your Annual Fund Gift?
Remember your gift is tax deductible!
Your gifts are important to the school. As you know, Nerinx Hall is an independent Catholic school and operates without financial support from the Archdiocese. Nerinx relies on tuition, endowment income and Annual Fund contributions to meet the operating expenses.
Annual Fund gifts bridge the gap between the cost of tuition and the actual cost to educate each student. Yes, that means that each girl attending Nerinx is subsidized. In 2013-2014 that gap is $1,500 per student. All Annual Fund gifts are 100% tax deductible. Please make your gift today to help us remain a strong and vital school. You can make your gift online at www.nerinxcommunity.org or return the envelope that you received in the mail in early October.
You are an essential part to help the legacy continue at Nerinx. With our strong academics, extraordinary faculty who enhance the educational experience and a well maintained facility we can continue to be the best school in St. Louis. Each faculty member in dedicated to Nerinx Hall and truly cares about the success of each girl and encourages her to discover her full potential. Teachers, parents and students working together comprise the winning formula that will continue this amazing legacy for current and future students. This is why we ask for your support of the Annual Fund.

Sister Mary Jo, John Gabriel and Sister Annie
Nerinx Hall is excited to welcome John Gabriel as the new President of Nerinx Hall. John comes with a strong background in education and also from one of the oldest girls' school in the United States. He previously served as Principal of Ursuline Academy in New Orleans. In his two weeks at Nerinx, he has been reaching out to meet with parents and board members. His goal is to continue the wonderful traditions of Nerinx Hall and to make sure that our school stays an academic leader in the St. Louis area.
The summer months have been very busy for the maintenance staff at Nerinx. When school starts in August, the girls will have a new floor and bleachers in the gym, bathrooms in the freshman hall and the junior hall have been updated, the outside brick has been reinforced with new tuck pointing, the entire school has been cleaned from top to bottom. In the Lockwood House, the old kitchen has been torn out and new cabinets and energy efficient appliances are being installed. This new kitchen will allow for special cooking classes to be offered to students, parents and alums. We are looking for alums and parents who might be interested in teaching a cooking technique or a class on baking, stir fry, healthy eating etc.
