Nerinx Gardeners Harvest Spring CropsAfter planting in the cold and nursing their early crops through a cool, wet spring, Nerinx Hall's gardeners harvested lettuce, onions and broccoli and celebrated with a spring salad at the end of the school year. The students have a watering schedule for the summer and are continuing to tend the vegetable garden. They hope to have some vegetables to contribute to the cafeteria salad bar in August. Be sure to check out the garden next to the west drive.

Amazing AuctionMarch 13th was a magical night for all of us at Nerinx. If you were one of the 610 guests who attended, you saw the value of a Nerinx education demonstrated by Jenna. You possibly got your picture taken with Jenna, or took one of Jenna or got her autograph. She was there wholeheartedly to support Nerinx.
Earlier that evening in an interview with KSDK, Jenna said, "Nerinx Hall helped shape the woman that I am today. I was a very different girl when I started Nerinx. I was very shy. I had a lot of big dreams in my head but they all felt unobtainable. But coming to Nerinx--it gave me courage, it gave me determination. It gave me a way to put a voice to all of those ambitions."
Like so many Nerinx girls, her dreams were realized. Her goal is now to give back to the school that gave her so much. The auction raised close to $300,000 for the school.
