AuctioNerinx Item NeededAuction Item Needed
AuctioNerinx on March 10, 2012 may seem months away, but our planning has been in high gear throughout the summer.
The wish list includes condos, sporting and entertainment event tickets, weekend getaways, jewelry and women's accessories, sporting goods, golfing packages, household items and services that are unique. We ask the items be new items. We will accept gently used small pieces of furniture if they can be repurposed.
If you don't have time to shop for an item to donate, Nerinx Hall is registered at Target and Bed Bath & Beyond. You can order from the gift registry and they will send the item directly to Nerinx Hall.
AuctioNerinx is the only major fundraising event for the school. It takes all of us working together to make it successful. If you would like to work on the auction, please contact stephanie.wenkel@citi.com or preed@nerinxhs.org.
School Begins with 629 studentsAugust 16th is the first day of school at Nerinx Hall and we are proud to welcome 629 wonderful students. Nerinx also welcomes several new faculty members. Everyone is looking forward to an exciting year.

Loretto Academt Alumnae Return to Their Alma MaterOn Sunday afternoon, October 23, graduates of the former Loretto Academy, which closed in 1952, returned to their alma mater. The former “Loretto Girls” shared reminiscences as they greeted old friends at a reception hosted by the Dominican Friars, who will soon occupy the former Academy when it becomes St. Dominic Priory. The Academy building, located at 3407 Lafayette Avenue, served as a day care center, a convent, and housing for single mothers with children after Loretto Academy closed. Located across I-44 from the Compton Heights Water Tower, the property was purchased by the Domincans in 2010. All News
